YouMap Community Standards 

Youmap website gives people the chance to share their data with the public, exchange views with other members, and obtain useful geographical insights in the areas they are interested in. To ensure a more reliable and secure environment for its members, Youmap has put in place the following Community Standards outlining the type of content that is acceptable on the site and what may be reported and removed.

  • Respect the Youmap community. We strongly encourage free speech and we support all different points of view of our members, but we do not allow individuals to attack others based on their race, ethnicity, origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or medical condition.
  • Do not infect others with viruses. Please do not use Youmap to intentionally infect others with viruses or other software that can cause damage to their computer devices. We take action again any malicious act protecting all the members of Youmap community.
  • Do not use Graphic violence content. We strictly prohibit any video or photo showing violence or pornography related content. Youmap is a community portal encouraging discussions about projects but it does not allow to shock or intimidate other members.
  • Comply with ethical issues. Youmap welcomes all different projects and encourage everyone to share his/her Youmap experience with the public. However, we do not permit projects that come against to ethics. Youmap respects ethical rules and stops any unethical activity.
  • Respect intellectual property. Before you upload any content on Youmap make sure you have the right to do so. Do not share videos, photos or information using someone else’s copyrighted work, trademark and private information if you have not the legal right to do it.
  • Do not abuse other members. Youmap has a strict policy against harassment and abusive behavior. Although we encourage users to freely exchange views with other members, we do not tolerate any inappropriate attitude targeted to other users.
